Welcome to Card Hunters JEG (Journey to the Emirates and the Globe) (“Card Hunters,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Service, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and any additional rules we may publish within the Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may need consent from a parent or legal guardian.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information where required and keep it up to date.

3. Safety and Location-Based Gameplay

Card Hunters is a location-based augmented reality experience. You are responsible for your safety and your surroundings while using the Service.

• Do not use the Service while driving or operating machinery.
• Follow applicable laws, venue rules, and posted safety instructions. Respect restricted areas and private property.
• Be aware of traffic, weather, terrain, and hazards. Do not trespass or place yourself or others at risk.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive activities.
• Harass, threaten, impersonate, or intimidate other users.
• Cheat, exploit, or manipulate gameplay, rewards, or systems.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, tamper with, or attempt to bypass security or access controls.
• Upload or transmit malware, spam, or content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.

5. User Content

If the Service allows you to submit content (e.g., text, images, feedback), you retain ownership of your content. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute such content only as needed to operate, improve, and provide the Service (and to enforce these Terms).

6. Intellectual Property

The Service (including software, gameplay, artwork, design, logos, and related materials) is owned by Card Hunters and/or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the Service.

7. Purchases and Virtual Items

The Service may offer optional purchases, subscriptions, or virtual items. Unless required by applicable law:

• All sales are final and non-refundable.
• Virtual items have no cash value and are not redeemable for money.
• We may modify, rebalance, or discontinue virtual items or features as part of updates.

8. Service Availability; Changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including features, content, rewards, or availability. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, engaged in fraud, abused the Service, or posed risk to other users or the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Card Hunters and its affiliates from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict of laws principles, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date above and may provide additional notice through the Service. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
